Literature Text

(lyrics by Charles de Charleroy, Jr.   to the melody of "Daniel" by Elton John)

1. Dashie is leavin' tonight for her home.  I can see her rainbow mane, rustling free as she goes.
And I know Dashie is wavin' goodbye.
Oh I'll miss my Dashie, she's every tear in my eyes.

(refrain)  Ohhhh!  My little Dashie, I will always love you; you saved me from the pain of a world without joy.
You may be gone, and I'll miss you for so long.
But Dashie you're my bow, arching clear through the sky.

2. Equestria's lovely, it's her world and I know, there Dash can spread her wings, flying as far as she could never go, here.
And I know it's where she really belongs.
Though I know it's all right, my heart's left feelin' so wrong.

(refrain)  Ohhhh!  My little Dashie, I will always love you; you saved me from the pain of a world without joy.
You may be gone, and I'll miss you for so long.
But Dashie you're my bow, arching clear through the sky.

(instrumental section)

(repeat 1st verse)
1. Dashie is leavin' tonight for her home.  I can see her rainbow mane, rustling free as she goes.
And I know Dashie is wavin' goodbye.
Oh I'll miss my Dashie, she's every tear in my eyes.
A little "Dawwwwww" song for the emotional Fan-tasic fan-favorite fan-fic "My Little Dashie".

I'm sure as people read the story with these lyrics playing in their minds, they will shed many manly tears. And lots of girly ones too! Bwah ha ha!
