It'll be held on Sunday, Feb. 19th, starting at 11 am, until whenever we get tired of blabbering about Pony for the day.
Location: Mount Holly International Buffet, Evergreen Plaza, just off of Rt 38 in Lumberton, NJ 08060. (NOTE! It's not found by maps because it's just re-opened this year after extensive renovation) It's in the section of Rt 38 between the Mount Holly Bypass and 206.
If you're heading west on 38, it's on the left, just past the Walmart (1740 Route 38, Lumberton, NJ. You can use this address, as the Evergreen Plaza is the plaza to the left of Walmart on the satellite map).
If you're heading east on 38, it's the second shopping plaza on your right past the McDonalds.
It's a big plaza with a big sign that says "EVERGREEN PLAZA", so it's rather hard to miss.
On the other side of 38 in that area is the old, closed landfill, so buildings are only on one side which makes it even easier to find! Tis why we went with that place: central location, easy to find.
Cost: Bring $13-$15 for the buffet and something to drink.
I can also bring a couple SDCC MLP posters to sell at a reduced rate from what I'd post on Ebay, since I won't have to deal with shipping and selling fees. Let me know if you want one!
You can all contact me via my gmail: charleroy77@gmail.com
So, what shall we call ourselves? "NJ Knights of Equestria"? "Pine Barrens Ponies"? "The Toxic Crusaders"? "Bronies Who Pay Huge Property Taxes"? ;3
I can draw well enough to put them all on a single page for the artist to add to the Jersey Discord's picture, as long as the marks aren't miniature Mona Lisa's or something!
I'll be gathering cutie marks, as well as OC ponies for the group picture I'm going to commission for John DeLancie. I think he'll get a kick out of it. :3
Mine will be my insane mad geneticist pony, Helix, who splices ponies with other creatures to try and replicate Discord! D:
About how old will the eldest person be there. I don't want to feel like the only Teen there.
I'm 35. And if my friend Giovanni comes (he's the same age) he and I may be the oldest ones there. I'm sure the majority of the others will be teens to twenties.
I actually liked hanging out with older people when I was young! They were the only ones who could understand half of what I would talk about. It's tough to be interested in science in America. No one knows anything about it in kindergarten. (I was a mega-nerd)
I should make some gingerbread ones next time if I have the time! I know an incredibly good recipe and an orange-ginger glaze for the top... mmmmm... I usually make myself sick eating wayyyyy too many of them when I make them. ;3
I'll make certain they remember, however, and call tomorrow.
